Peaceful Bay

This wonderful West shore home has two master suites each with a private bath. The loft suite has a queen bed and nice lake view, and the downstairs suite has a queen bed and adjoining bath. In addition there is a third bedroom on the main floor with twin bunks. Peaceful Bay has an open floor plan with a generous kitchen and great room providing a wonderful gathering space for all. Enjoy the Lake views from the spacious deck and watch the activities going on in the yard and on the dock. After a long day of site seeing or playing on the lake you can enjoy the hot tub located on the East facing deck. There is a brand new wooden dock at this property. Peaceful Bay is centrally located just minutes from Lakeside and about 20 minutes from Kalispell. This is a great location for the avid skier, as Blacktail Mountain is just minutes away and Big Mountain is approximately a 50 minute drive. A great homebase for enjoying the Flathead Valley, Peaceful Bay is just 45 minutes to Polson (and great golf), and approx 90 minutes north to Glacier National Park and 90 minutes south to the National Bison Range. Bigfork and the Summer Playhouse are only 20 minutes away. 6 people max No Smoking. No pets.

    Can't say enough great things about our stay in Montana! Peaceful Bay was a great property to stay in, beautiful house, great location, fabulous sunset views across Flathead lake!! Did not want to return to the East Coast!! Plan to return for vacation again and we would stay at Peaceful Bay house again.

    We had a great time - the house is very nice and the furnishings are great. The only reason we graded the property down a bit is: (1) it is advertised with a dock and the dock is nextdoor - the one on site is falling apart, too small for the small speedboat we rented and unsafe. (2) the geese problem is big! Love wildlife, but wished we had been allowed to bring our hunting dog to move them off the lawn. They made a huge mess and my daughter got swimmer's itch and then wouldn't go in the water again. Not sure you can fix that part. Otherwise, it was perfect.

    Peaceful Bay is just the home away from home we were looking for. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities a family could need. The open structure and large windows that welcomed the sun each morning made for a beautiful start
    to each day. We never had to worry about the kids when they were playing in the yard or on the dock, everything is well maintained and the "neighborhood" is very friendly. This is our 4th year to Flathead lake so we appreciate everything the lake and its communities
    have to offer but Peaceful Bay was the icing on the cake this year. We look forward to returning next year!

    Nice house on the lake. The lawn was well taken care of. There was a bit of a bee problem on the back deck in one of the trees, but the didn't bother us much. The view is great.

    I specifically asked about the boat dock prior to booking, as we'd had a problem with a previous property's boat dock. I was told that there was a boat dock. However, we discovered that it was so old and shoddy that a newer model of boat would not fit. We thus had to anchor the boat each night. In addition, all the beds were very old and in poor condition. However, the location was super and Montana's Best Vacations' owners are very nice; they only have so much control over the owners' maintenance of the rental properties. If the boat dock and mattresses were replaced, it would be a four star property.
