Achewa is a custom built 2,000 square foot, two and a half story home with incredible Flathead Lake and mountain views. It is decorated throughout with unique treasures and amazing art work from the well traveled owners.
The main floor has a large " Great" room, with lots of windows highlighting the breathtaking views out across the lake. The beautiful gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops, custom cabinets, Jenn-Aire range,and breakfast bar. The great views of Flathead Lake and the Mission and Swan Mountain ranges from the lovely dining room table are awe inspiring!
Also on the main level, the beautiful master bedroom has a queen-sized log bed and large walk-in closet. The master bath has a large tile shower and his/her sinks. Enjoy the view from the welcoming hot tub which is just a few steps away from the Master. Upstairs, the open loft area looks down onto the greatroom. The loft area is a wonderful place to relax and is furnished with futon-style furniture and a television
On the lower level there are two bedrooms with Lake views - one with a queen-sized bed and the other a queen-sized futon couch/bed. The additional downstairs bedroom has a full-sized bed. These three bedrooms share a large full bath with tub/shower combo.
Additional features of this great home include, a large TV with satellite services, and a stereo system that is wired throughout the home.
Achewa is located above Somers MT. and is approx.10 minutes west of Bigfork,10 minutes north of Lakeside, 15 minutes south of Kalispell and 50 minutes south of Glacier National Park. Just minutes away, Somers offers a public Boat launch and Park. Several challenging golf courses , fishing, hiking, horseback riding , shopping and boat rentals are all nearby.
