Sunset Harbor is located on some of the finest shoreline that Flathead Lake has to offer. The gradual slope of the pebble beaches in Skidoo Bay teamed with the fabulous North facing views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountain range make this a perfect vacation setting.
This newly remodeled lake home features a gourmet kitchen that will satisfy the most accomplished chef. Generous seating, granite counter tops, double ovens and a five burner gas cook top are just a few of this kitchens amenities.
The stylishly adorned adjoining living room steps out from the main house to create view windows on three sides. The living room, as well as the kitchen, has lake and mountain views to die for from non-stop windows across the entire North wall of each area. The Swiss imported windows are triple pain to keep the house cool even on sunny days and the unique design allows them to swing open from the side or tip open from the top (we’ll have special instruction for you on how to open either way).
The romantic master suite on the second level features a walk-in tiled shower and a private balcony overlooking the lake. The main floor offers two additional bedrooms with old world style charm and a second bathroom. Each of the beds is a queen. The bathroom was designed with five special large pull out baskets so everyone can keep they’re own bathroom items in a separate basket.
The walkout basement surprises you with another complete kitchen furnished with all new appliances and a handy prep island. This kitchen is a perfect compliment when using the adjoining outdoor European style patio to grill steaks with lake views of course. A sitting area with a rock fireplace and roll around television sit opposite the kitchen. A covered dining area to the front of the house allows you to dine with a view especially if you are not to get out of your swim suits just yet. This area is also great for sunset dining as there is a sun screen that can be lowered.
Need even more beds? The Bunkhouse closer to the lake has two twin beds each with mosquito nets…pretty cool place all decorated like you won’t believe. No Montana cowboy ever has a Bunkhouse like this. Closer to the lake is also the Sauna House with an easy to use and absolute beautiful sauna. The Sauna House is also a great place to get away for peace and quiet to read or take a little nap.
Sunset Harbor comes with a huge breakwater dock that is approximately 150 feet in length. There is plenty of room for your boat or watercraft along this sea wall. The shoreline has a beautiful well protected fire pit with room for lots of people and late night conversations around the fire. For those who know what they are doing, a canoe and water kayak are available, but you will want to bring or rent motorized watercraft.
Just when you think there could not be more, Sunset Harbor comes with a complete second (and original) cabin which can sleep three additional people with a queen bed and a twin bed. This property is listed separately as (not asigned on website as of 6-2-08) and can be rented along with the main house for an additional $1000.00 plus taxes and charges.
